I'm running as fast as I can

Life has been a little like my undergraduate days, working until late at night and on week ends to meet deadlines. I sent off an amended version of my journal article about secure health systems this afternoon. This is the 10th or 11th draft since I found it very difficult to incorporate the reviewer's comments and produce a well written manuscript but finally I sent it off this afternoon.

I need to do a bit more work on the ethics manuscript but that will have to wait until I have a breather.

I have thrown away my draft project proposal and started from scratch again with just a flow chart and a few appendices as the guts of my research and I am still waiting for the time to flesh that out.

At the same time, I am working on my model and while there are obstacles, I think I will be able to resolve most of them. I also need to find a way to graphically depict heaps of complex information in a more simple way... I might talk to some web designers about that actually, since that among their areas of expertise.

I'm also working on devising my questionnaires.

There is so much to think about and to achieve in such a short period of time, but I have a meeting with my supervisors later this week since one of them is going away for 6 months (sigh...). The meeting will be great for getting feedback on my draft questionnaire.

This week is full of meetings too, but I feel pretty good despite the pressure, probably because I think I am making some progress in my research work.

Off home now and maybe I will do a little more reading before tomorrow, which is full of meetings, reading and questionnaire design.  ¶ 4:52 pm
